Fundraising and Communications Coordinator

The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a global network of policy research centers in Russia, China, Europe, the Middle East, India, and the United States, is seeking a full-time Fundraising and Communications Coordinator to work in its Beirut office.

Responsibilities will include identifying and developing funding prospects, writing grant reports and proposals, assisting the director of communications in coordinating the work of scholars and project outputs, contributing to the promotion of Carnegie publications and media outreach, editing articles, and engaging with partner research institutes and various international stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in communications, economics, international affairs, political science, or a related field; experience working with fundraising or grants administration; experience in writing reports and briefings on different issues; ability to work with minimum supervision and adapt to changing job requirements; ability to steward relationships with existing and potential funders; first-rate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic is required. The successful candidate must be able to work full-time in Lebanon.
